On a Bird Wave

As a member of the art group Resistor Group, became the winner of the open-call "Vyksa Festival" and created a 7-meter sound sculpture. The installation "On the Bird's Wave" consisting of a multitude of birdhouses is a metaphor for a common home as a unity of multitude. Several bird feeders and birdhouses in Vyksa parks record bird sounds and transmit them to a central sound sculpture, which synthesizes a sound stream from them, accessible both nearby and from any point in the world online. Birds notice people better than people notice birds. The object draws attention to their existence, helps residents see Vyksa in a new way, and feel themselves a part of a unified whole.
